Fuzz Rico

Growing up influenced by R&B, Fuzz Rico, found a way to blend her infectious melodic sound with Hip-Hop’s finesse. She can easily slip from slow sensual vibes on songs like “Ur Favorite Ex”, “NoScrubs” and “Where U Wanna Be” to effortless rap flows like “Got It” and “Too Long”. Songwriting navigated her way to LA where she would write songs for artists like Jeremih, Ty Dolla $ign, Fridayy, Chris Brown, DaniLeigh, HitMaka and more — Eventually collaborating with artist like K Camp, Kid Ink, Valee, Chevy Woods, etc. She curated a blueprint for likeminded creatives to follow their true passion. “Believe, Become, Be You.”

FXREVER MACCIN - Where It Started

This project was the centerpiece of what became my brand identity. I created this body of music for women and L rides. A collection of music that you can just press play and get lost in your own world. Soundcloud gave this project life. I found myself performing these songs across the states and soon enough built confidence in who I was becoming to eventually perform and win a showcase in front of hundreds of people. That’s when I knew, I was exactly who I thought I was.

HIMALAYA PLAYA - WHERE IT MADE SENSE

Before this project came about — I moved to LA with $300 to my name in hopes of getting a song placement on Jeremih and Ty Dolla $ign’s project “Mih-Ty”. I worked tirelessly for 3 months straight making over 100 songs and several artists cutting my records to finally landing a song on Kid Ink’s project “Missed Calls” with the song “Rain Dance”. Shortly after, I ended up homeless living in hostels. In the midst of it all — I decided to drop “Himalaya Playa” as my debut album. I threw a successful release party in the hills of LA and felt I was finally at a peak after taking what I felt at the time were L’s. Fuzz Rico was stamped in my eyes and I was finally getting recognition from other songwriters and producers I had dreams of working with.

HUNNID ROSES - WHERE IT SHIFTED

After Covid, shit got real. I lost my gma while still living in LA and decided to move back to Jersey to be surrounded by family. Music started to feel like a disservice and a disconnect. I took short breaks but eventually came around to putting together this timeless piece that never got a chance to thrive the way it should have. I cared more about numbers than the feeling that was created while making this. This project shined light on my growth as a person and creative nonetheless. Unfortunately, this was the project that ultimately led me to a pause. I no longer knew my next steps, the road got dark and I walked away from music.
